We are looking for a Beauty Educator that holds experience teaching apprenticeship level 2 & 3. This is a part time role over 2 days during the course of 45 weeks. (Further work may be offered as more courses are added, this is optional)
For this role you will be responsible for mentoring your group of learners (6-8 in a class) You will be expected to prepare lesson plans, deliver your sessions and asses their ability and progression, ensure that the learning is fun, interesting, relevant, challenging and appropriate to the skills set.
You are to guide and support them through the assessments, providing effective verbal and written feedback and assessments. This will ensure learners develop skills to have a clear understanding on their Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), goals, targets and what is required of them to successfully complete their programme and to progress into either further learning or sustainable employment. You will be working along side the owner to help develop the course in terms of both the delivery strategies and current techniques/expectations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
To be able to assist with delivery of education and training provision to students, many of whom are vulnerable and have disengaged or are disengaging with the normal school curriculum and/or environment.
Provision of education and training may be delivered either on a one to one basis, or to groups of students
Are able to commit to providing the students with consistency through the delivery of the provision and are able to commit to a 45 week programme with no holidays on the days set to work (Monday & Tuesday)
